Discover the science of simple and powered machines with a week of LEGO® engineering challenges. Explore modern and ancient architecture, construct a working lock box made entirely of bricks, then design everything from motorized cranes and self-propelled cars to walking animals and windmills.

Take your filmmaking skills to the next level! Discover the secrets of stop motion, then investigate the world of foley effects. With a film crew, create traditional and digital animated shorts, design your own backdrops and characters, then write, film, and edit a short of your very own creation! Finish the week with a viewing of your film in The Rangos Giant Cinema!

Explore hardware, software, and everything in between in this hands-on camp that explores how the parts of a computer talk to each other and how we can get in on the conversation. Then participants will design, build, and program a videogame console as a team. This is a great precursor to Video Game Design Camp!

Search for nearby habitable planets, explore the past, present, and future of space travel, and discover how astrophysicists identify celestial bodies billions of light years away.

Hear ye, hear ye! Dive into the world of robotics as you build and design rovers with a medieval twist. Using LEGO® Education’s EV3 software and technology, incorporate motors, gears, and sensors to program robots that can climb ramps, batter down castle walls, and joust against other robotic knights.

Campers will run, jump, and explore a pixelated world of their own making. This revamped beginner’s camp will explore every element and step of the videogame design process from character design and level layouts to scripts and debugging. Students will leave this camp with the beginnings of their own game to build on at home. Computer Science Camp (June 19–23) is a great precursor to Video Game Design, but it is not required.

Experience firsthand all the latest technologies: 3D printers, laser cutters, vinyl cutters, and other CNC machines. Learn design software for both 2D and 3D machines and make daily projects to take home.

Use 3D design software to design characters and bring them to life! Explore lighting and camera effects to create a new world for your digital characters. Sculpt and animate your characters using Blender before 3D printing them as they go from ‘bits’ to ‘its’.

Build electrifying projects in the lab! This hands-on camp will introduce you to circuits, hardware, and programming, setting you up for an adventure into electronics and robotics. Take home a curated Arduino electronics kit at the end of the week.
