At Carnegie Science Center, we align with your curriculum. In addition to 200+ interactive exhibits included in general group admission, we offer a wide variety of experiences that make for an unforgettable field trip. Whether you want a fun educational outing or need to cover specific content areas, we can help you design the perfect day!
Early learners will learn through play by experiencing hands-on science learning in a host of eligible content areas. Explore available on site educational field trips, outreach travel-to-you experiences, and educational outings and let us customize your visit!

Our 30-minute assembly programs can accommodate up to 200 students per showings. Topics include air and wind, and bugs.
Each fun 45-minute program is designed to give up to 30 students the chance to expand on eligible content themes with engaging hands-on activities.

General Admission field-trip pricing starts at $10 per person for weekday groups of 15 or more with a two-week advance reservation and $13 per person in the group on weekends with a two-week advance reservation. Ready to start the reservation process? To process your reservation, please provide:
- Which programs/add-ons you want to book
- A few suggested dates for your visit
- Arrival and departure times
- Number of adults (teachers and chaperones) – please note, one adult is required for every 10 students (and adult is admitted free)
- Number of students
- Lunch and/or movie snack plans
