To prevent the spread of the COVID-19 Delta variant in areas with substantial/high transmission, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that every person—vaccinated and unvaccinated—wear a mask when inside public spaces. For that reason, all visitors age 2 and above are required to wear masks while inside our museum, and our staff members and volunteers will be wearing masks, too. Masks are available on-site if you should need one. If you are not able to wear a mask, we invite you to explore our virtual offerings at Science at Home , until the time comes when mask-wearing is no longer required.
Please note: For the safety of our visitors and staff, guests who do not follow posted safety guidelines or instructions from staff will be asked to leave the premises.
If you or a family member have not been vaccinated, please consider taking this important step to protect yourselves and others around you!
