Preschool Semesters

$80 Members/$90 Nonmembers (per child and adult helper for six weeks of classes)
Carnegie Science Center’s Preschool Semesters are specifically designed around suitable themes for little scientists to cultivate a love for learning and to teach them basic science concepts. All workshops are specifically designed for ages 3–5. To make the most of your child’s experience, they must be the appropriate age on the date the selected semester begins.
My World and Me
Little scientists learn about themselves and their communities.
Themes include:
- Sept. 11 – Senses
- Sept. 18 – What Makes Me, Me
- Sept. 25 – Big, Big Feelings
- Oct. 2 – Community Helpers
- Oct. 9 – The Scientist in Me
- Oct. 16 – Families and Cultures
Living Things Exploration
Students explore the exciting world of living things.
Themes include:
- Nov. 6 – Life Cycles
- Nov. 13 – Creative Camouflage
- Nov. 20 – Hands-On Hibernation
- Nov. 27 – Animal Exploration
- Dec. 4 – Plant Life Cycle
- Dec. 11 – Habitat Exploration
