In-Person Outreach Program Safety Standards
At Carnegie Museums, we are committed to the safety of our staff, visitors, and outreach program participants. As a temporary health and safety measure during the COVID-19 pandemic, we have established In-Person Outreach Program Safety Standards to ensure a safe and fun experience for in-person programming occurring in schools, educational institutions, community centers, and other related facilities.
In-person outreach programs include the BNY Mobile Fab Lab, Science on the Road assemblies, and STEM-by-the-Hour programs.
STEM Education facilitators can conduct programming both on site and off site when:
- Carnegie Science Center agrees to follow masking procedures of individual schools, school districts, or organizations. At all times, our employees may choose to wear masks, but can default to the procedures outlined within individual school districts.
If your group is not able to meet in-person, we invite you to explore our virtual STEM-by-the-Hour programs and Science on the Road assemblies.
