Floyd and Friends: Hard Rock Edition

We bet you’ll have a “Whole Lotta Love” for this laser show marathon! Experience your favorite hard rock, heavy metal, and psychedelic space-rock music set to stellar laser choreography. Our laser artists will serve up stunning colors against the dome with 3D atmospheric effects and trippy imagery, taking you on a magical, musical journey of laser light. Hear, feel, and see your favorite tunes at this brilliant music event. Tickets can be purchased online up until showtime.

Late night lasers are after hours and tickets are sold per show. General admission is not needed. Enter through the main entrance and walk towards the left side of the Ticket Counter and make a right. Walk up the ramp to the next level or proceed to the 2nd Floor through the elevator. Present your mobile ticket to Science Center team members as you enter Buhl Planetarium. Light refreshments and drinks are available to purchase as you wait to enter your laser show(s) of choice.

Please arrive 10 minutes early as shows begin promptly at their start time. To ensure a quality experience for our guests, we do not allow late entries.

Shows are 40 minutes each. Cost per show: $10 Members/$12 Nonmembers

Laser Queen

Freddie Mercury may be gone, but the Queen saga lives on! The rock will be loud, emotions high, and LASER light bright when we play all the sing-along hits: “Crazy Little Thing Called Love,” “Under Pressure,” “Another One Bites the Dust,” and of course “Bohemian Rhapsody”.

Laser AC/DC

Showing at 9 p.m.

Get ready to rock – laser style! AC/DC hits, including “You Shook Me All Night Long,” and “Highway to Hell,” are paired with awesome 3D atmospheric effects from high-powered laser projectors.

Laser Led Zeppelin

Showing at 10 p.m.

Led Zeppelin’s classic sound blends acoustics with rock and roll, gritty vocals with winsome melodies. Relive the band’s best tunes with dazzling laser effects.

Best of Pink Floyd

Showing at 11 p.m.

Go on an audiovisual journey through some of the best of Pink Floyd’s discography, including favorites from Dark Side of the Moon, The Wall, The Division Bell, and more!
