Monthly in-person career exploration for Students in Grades 6–12

SciTech Days offer an exciting opportunity for middle and high school students to dive into the world of STEM through hands-on experiences, live demonstrations, and direct interactions with professionals from local companies, universities, and organizations.

In-person opportunities for middle school students (Grades 6–8):

• Special 40-minute STEM workshop: Ignite curiosity and inspire innovation! These interactive workshops are designed to engage young minds with hands-on activities that make STEM concepts fun, accessible, and memorable. Each session is tailored to spark interest across a wide range of STEM topics – perfect for budding scientists and engineers.

In-person opportunities for high school students (Grades 9–12):

• Career Connections: Step into the shoes of a STEM professional! High school students will engage in meaningful, bite-sized conversations with scientists, engineers, and tradespeople from the Pittsburgh region. These sessions offer a real-world glimpse into STEM careers – providing valuable insights, inspiration, and guidance for future pathways.

SciTech Days take place one Thursday each month, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Pricing

• General SciTech Day Pricing: $10 per student per SciTech Day
• Add-On Experiences: $6 per student for a Workshop or Career Connection
