Ages 4–5
Start planning for summer camp exploration and fun! Programs are offered for ages 4–14.
Explore video game science, virtual reality, digital storytelling, space, robotics, biology, art, and so much more to foster curiosity and scientific inquiry! The Science Center offers Summer Camps for kids in Pittsburgh that are exciting, fun, active, and enriching.

Half-Day Camps
Cost: $185 Members, $200 Nonmembers
Half-day camps run from 9 a.m.–noon for the morning session and from 1–4 p.m. for the afternoon session.
*No camp on July 4. Reduced price for four-day camps: $148 Members, $160 Nonmembers
Carnegie Science Center Summer Camps are specifically developed for the age group listed. To make the most of your campers’ experience, they must be the appropriate age on the date the selected camp begins. Campers are expected to be as ready as they would be for school, which includes completed potty training.

Step into our mini laboratory and start investigating the fascinating world of science. Observe tiny specimens under microscopes, carry out chemical reactions, and experiment with physical forces.

Unleash your imagination as you build bridges and castles with blocks and turn ordinary objects into extraordinary structures! Join fellow engineers as you discover which shapes are the strongest, test out different building materials, and tinker with recycled materials.
