Monthly in-person career-focused field trip for students Grades 6–12!

SciTech Days connect middle- and high-school students with real-world scientists, engineers, tradespeople, and other STEM professionals from local companies, organizations, and universities. Students will explore demonstrations and interact with STEM experts and activity tables hosted by partnering organizations.

In-person opportunities for middle school students (Grades 6–8):

• Special 40-minute workshop: Ignite your students’ passion for STEM with our dynamic workshops offered during SciTech Day! Each 40-minute workshop is crafted specifically to spark middle school students’ interest in a wide variety of STEM themes. This will include hands-on experiences in the classroom that make complex concepts accessible and exciting. Join today to elevate your experience!

In-person opportunities for high school students (Grades 9–12):

• Career Connections: High school students will have the unique opportunity to engage in short, impactful conversations with STEM professionals from the surrounding Pittsburgh area. Career Connections offers a glimpse into the day-to-day tasks of a multitude of STEM related career fields providing valuable insights, inspiration, and guidance. Begin paving the path for success at SciTech Day with Career Connections!

SciTech Days are scheduled for one Friday each month from 9 am–2 pm, spreading out the exciting STEM programming over the entire school year. See the dates and themes below:

• Jan. 17, 2025 – Health & Medicine
• Feb. 21, 2025 – Physics & Engineering
• March 21, 2025 – Women+ of STEM
• April 18, 2025 – Earth & Environment
• May 16, 2025 – Space & Astronomy
