This November, GMSP and Carnegie Science Center team up with five of our regions most innovative chemical companies—BASF, Bayer, LANXESS, NOVA Chemical, and PPG—to show how chemistry is essential in everything we do. From our iPods to our lipstick, to our cappuccinos to our school buses, chemistry affects our lives. Learn how chemistry relates to health and beauty, and also how chemistry is helping make the world a greener place. Explore why chemistry "matters" with hands-on experiments, interact with real life professionals and mentors, and have tons of fun meeting other girls who share your passion for science!
