Go behind-the-scenes of roboworld™
Thursday, April 11 – SOLD OUT
7 – 9 pm
Come and explore the nuts and bolts of roboworld™ during an exclusive tour of the world's biggest permanent robotics exhibit. Mingle with fellow robotics enthusiasts and meet the people responsible for creating one of the Science Center’s biggest attractions. This hands-on workshop will teach you more about the robots we use in our daily lives.
Registration is limited to 15 participants.

USS Requin Behind-the-Scenes Tech Tours

Now you can delve deeper into the science and technology of submarines. Go behind the scenes of the USS Requin, and into areas rarely seen by the visiting public! See how these amazing vessels and their crew faced challenges and life underwater. Explore un-restored compartments and see the conning tower or check out the periscope! For ages 15 and up; tour size is limited to 12 people. Full mobility is required. Call 412.237.1637 to register.

Ever wonder what it's like to work on the Miniature Railroad & Village®? Come behind the scenes while the Miniature Railroad is closed to everyone else! Discover what it takes to keep this historic treasure in tip-top shape. Learn how the scenery is created, how the animations work, and how the models are built... even do a special hands-on activity!
For train enthusiasts ages 10 and up. Children under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
