Laser shows are presented most Friday and Saturday nights; some are shown in matinees.

Classic Rock Laser Line-Up

Watch swirling visuals dance to the music of Van Halen's rockin' hits, including "Hot for Teacher," "Why Can't This Be Love?," and "You Really Got Me."

AC/DC
Get ready to rock – laser style! AC/DC hits, including "You Shook Me All Night Long," and "Highway to Hell," are paired with awesome 3D atmospheric effects from high-powered laser projectors.

Led Zeppelin
Need your classic rock fix? Then bring your air guitar skills as we rock out with Jimmy Page, Robert Plant and the rest of the English superstar band aboard their Starship. There will be loads of stars, lasers, and insane dome visuals that will make you think you're moving!

Laser Gaga
Get the ultimate Lady Gaga experience with this brand new laser show. "Just Dance" to Monster Ball favorites like "Poker Face," "Alejandro," "Telephone," and "Born This Way."

Midnight Floyd
A Buhl Planetarium classic! Midnight Floyd features a different mix of Pink Floyd albums every week, with songs from Dark Side of the Moon, The Wall and more. You may have seen Floyd in recent decades, but never like this! LASER liquid skies and full dome digital imagery will have you immersed in a Floyd experience like you've never had before!

Laser Halloween
Oct. 5 – Nov. 3
Spooky lasers, eerie darkness, ghoulish tunes, and frightful guests! Get into the Halloween spirit with the Addams Family, the Ghostbusters, and Beetlejuice. Do the Monster Mash, the Time Warp, and your own ghastly dance. Bring the whole family for this chillin' good time!

Our New System
The new projection system features three high powered, solid state, laser projectors that deliver on-dome visuals and 3D atmospheric effects that fill the air above the audience. Each laser appears many, many times brighter than the old argon gas system. These projectors are built exclusively by Laser Fantasy International, a Seattle-based company.

In addition to stunning new laser light capabilities, the new laser projection system is also "green." The new technology uses less electricity than the Science Center's previous laser system and does not require flowing water to be cooled. The Science Center will save approximately 300,000 gallons of water per year and more than 30,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity – representing about 500,000 pounds of carbon dioxide emissions.
