How far will you travel?
We’ll travel anywhere! We’ve gone across Pennsylvania and as far away as Arizona.

Is there a travel charge?
There is no travel charge to sites within 24 miles of Carnegie Science Center. Anything outside that range has a travel charge that is calculated by mileage. Sites that are far away from Pittsburgh may incur a hotel charge if our presenters need to stay the night.

How can I reduce my travel charges?
The best way is to coordinate with other schools and venues in your area. The travel charges for our journey will be divided among all of our hosts, resulting in savings for each of you.

What kind of space do you require?
We offer a wide variety of programs scaled to different-sized spaces. Assembly programs work best in a gymnasium or auditorium. Classroom Discovery Days, Science of Health Programs, After-School Workshops and Microscope Labs are designed for more intimate settings. If there are specific requirements for a show, they are listed with its description.

How many receipts are needed for a Shop ‘n Save SEED assembly?
A SEED assembly requires $250 worth of Shop ‘n Save receipts per child.
