Robot Block Party

Break out your Bermuda shorts and techie t-shirts and get ready to boogie down with ‘bots of all shapes and sizes at Carnegie Science Center's Robot Block Party!
Check out the region's “A-list” robots – from automated cars that drive cross-country by themselves and bomb-detonating first responders to robots that greet you, dance to the sound of your voice and explore outer space. They're all going to be on hand for the hottest block party this side of Silicon Valley with food and fun for people of all ages.
Robotics enthusiasts and novices alike can party with researchers working on the latest in robotics breakthroughs and get a close encounter with everything robotic.
Robot Costume Contest
On Saturday, come dressed as your favorite robot for a chance to win great prizes at our Robot Costume Contest. Special celebrity judges are sure to make this a costume contest to remember. Register for the costume contest here.
You can also register onsite before 2:30 pm on Saturday, July 19. Contest begins in the Science Center lobby at 3 pm.
