Carnegie Science Center is a place where discoveries are made every day. If you are interested in learning what you can do, we invite you to join Carnegie Science Center's Volunteer Team or Internship Program.

It is not necessary for you to be a scientist in order to be an important part of the team. The volunteer team includes diverse people of all ages, abilities, educational levels, and employment backgrounds.

Whether giving directions and answering questions in Visitor Services or working behind the scenes in offices, volunteers help make Carnegie Science Center programs possible. The volunteer program staff will help you select a role that matches your interests and abilities with department needs.

Carnegie Science Center's Teen Volunteer Program

Carnegie Science Center's Teen Volunteer Program accepts individuals ages 14 - 18. This program offers a unique experience in which young people can explore career interests, build employment skills and contribute to the region. Individuals are given the opportunity for personal growth and responsibility.

The next Teen Volunteer Information Session and Interview will be scheduled for August 2010. Further information for registering for the event will be posted in July.
