Science Pavilion

“The Science Center is more than a one-day destination. You’re able to take it with you, and make it part of your life.”

With community support, SPARK! A Campaign for Carnegie Science Center will further distinguish Pittsburgh as one of the best places to live, work, and visit in the United States.

A North Shore landmark and celebrated success since opening its doors in 1991, Carnegie Science Center stands at a transformational moment in its 25-year evolution.

A new Science Pavilion, to house STEM Learning Labs and a Special Exhibitions Gallery, is the lead project of SPARK! A Campaign for Carnegie Science Center. This facility will not only strengthen the Science Center’s ability to deliver informal STEM education and career awareness programming to inspire the next generation of creative thinkers, it will also increase tourism and bolster economic growth.
